First the mint ‘86 Hyundai Pony, now this little gem.

A 1971 Honda N600. So much temptation. I’ve been holding out for a Classic Mini project but this is so close and so available. And as an added bonus it runs and drives with minimal rust.

Edit: Anyone know what these are worth in half decent condition?

I bought a first gen Civic, which came right after that, for $300 with a solid amount of rust. Still fixable but quite a bit.

With minimal rust I’d say maybe a grand? 1,500 maybe?

I’m really not sure I guess. I’ve never looked into these. That’s a guess.

If you want to see a great video watch the video on YouTube called “Serial One.” It's a great watch!

The resale would be horrible. However compared to a mini I bet the investment would be minuscule and just as fun.

Those are great cars. I had a Z Coupe once. I used to drive it on the freeway even. Rust is obviously a concern, but a runner needing work could be anywhere from a $2500 to $4000 car. They’re pretty collectible. The Coupes are worth a little more since they’re harder to find.

Oh awesome. That’s super helpful. This one claims to have rust free floors, trunk floor and rockers so that’s a good start. Although the picture shows some on the roof but that’s easy to get to. And they are asking $3800 CAD so with some haggling it could be a NP and loads of fun.

Yeah, that sounds pretty appropriate as long as there’s no serious cancer and you can talk him down a little. Along the windshield and rear glass are going to be fairly common spots for rust. They really are fun. And very simple to work on. There’s pretty good support for them out there, too.

I love the z coupe. I think it's kinda funny how they clearly wanted it to look like a 240z. The bump in the hood, and badge on the c pillar really drive it home. Oh and that that named it a Z.
